Katie won out of Novice at the East Midland Novice Field Trial 22nd Nov 2004. Winning her 2 day qualifier at the Highland Gundog Club 17th & 18th Oct 2005. Went on to run at the 2005 Drumlanrig IGL Retriever Championship.

The following year she went onto win the Herts, Beds, Bucks 2 day qualifier, making her upto Field Trial Champion and qualifying for the IGL Retriever Championship at Great Livermere.
